Empty Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is an out-of-time thriller series filled with romance, suspense, terrorism, and crime investigations. The story preludes the adventure of this lovely couple, Tom Torbulo and Kelly McBride, on their special honeymoon in an Island resort in Honduras, but unfortunately, the couple got entangled in a terrorist conspiracy against the United States of America.

All this happened on a particular day when Kelly went touring and stumbled upon a pigsty shop. She decided to check it out and see if there were a couple of things she could buy for her nephew, not knowing that it was an undercover site for terrorist operations. While she was checking out a few things to buy, she was attacked in the process; luckily for her, she escaped for her life. Kelly informed her brother, Mike McBride, about the incident (Mike is a senator from the United States of America). When Mike heard such panic from his little sister, He informed her husband about the incident as well. Who are these terrorists? What were their horrible plans against the United States of America? Read this book to find out why.

I enjoyed reading this book. I loved how the author was able to switch the storyline from a romance to an intense thriller about crime investigations. It was fast-paced and had full, exciting action from start to finish. I loved the author's style of writing, and the book was perfectly edited. I found the interview between Harvey and Dr. Peter Kinney quite interesting because Dr. Peter was able to reveal the need for electricity in our society today and the meaning of Emp.

There was nothing I disliked about the book; it had no grammatical errors, so I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of its romance, crime investigations, and adventure.

I would recommend this book to lovers of fictional science, romance, mystery, adventure, and crime investigation.
