Symposium of the Reaper by Andrew Adams is a novel consisting of short stories that has enough horror tales to entertain readers. This novel is made up of thirteen short stories that make the reader enjoy the hybrid genre.

This book is creepy, weird, funny, and unexpected, leaving each of its readers guessing and hoping as to what comes next. One of the best things that I loved about this novel is that it is not entirely scary; at some scenes, a reader will be caught holding their breath and being panicked, but this book is funny and hilarious. One of my favorite stories that I liked most was the second story, Dance Macabre. A group of friends hosts and drinks at a party that leads to unexpected and unreal situations.

At the end of most stories, the ending made me question whether there could be a better or different ending; this made me think and be able to rewrite my own endings for most of the stories. Each of the stories is captivating and surprising, which makes readers want to continue reading. I love to read books at night, and being able to read this book during the night adds much-needed excitement and thrills to go with it.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this book. This book has been professionally edited, and I have found no errors. The writer's structure, layout, and setting in the book are perfect. I rate this book five out of five stars and applaud the author for writing this collection of horror stories.

I recommend this book to teenagers over the age of fifteen and to people who love horror movies with a twist of fun and excitement. I also recommend this book to people who read and are huge fans of the Goosebumps series. This book was enjoyable and fascinating.
