The fourth installment of Jack Winnick's enthralling Lara and Uri series is titled The Date Farm. There are plenty of action and sabotage moments in this geopolitical drama. The story revolves around Lara Edmond and Uri Levin, a newlywed couple.

Lara is an adept user of technology and works for the Israeli Mossad alongside her spouse. Uri is an experienced agent with a focus on undercover work. While on honeymoon at the farm of the Edmund family, Islamic terrorists attack New York. Due to their previous success against the terrorists, Lara and Uri are ordered to come back to work.

The switching points of view between chapters is one of this book's and the series' best features. The author keeps readers on their toes by going back and forth between the terrorists and the FBI. The name of the book is fitting. It centers around the heart of the book. Even though this book is a standalone thriller, it's magical to witness the romance between the pair grow over the course of the entire series.

The secondary characters in Winnick's stories are only briefly introduced, and as the plot develops, their characters gain more depth. The only break in the narrative is a brief physical description. Tche majority of the crucial plot details are also revealed by him as they occur, avoiding needless foreshadowing. With numerous turns and surprises, this keeps things fascinating for the reader. Despite spending time with the terrorists, we frequently only become aware of new developments as they happen.

I didn't find anything negative about the book. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I found no errors, indicating it was well-edited. I applaud Uri and Lara for their patriotism. I liked how they gave up their honeymoons to serve their countries. I recommend this book to lovers of action, romance, and thrillers.
