Will I call it a talent? No. A knack, maybe so. After promising not to get involved in the risky job of hunting down bad guys, Dr. Nolan could not just turn a blind eye to the Medicare crime brought to his doorstep by a patient, Ruben Villegas, brought in by Danny Sasaki and uttering incoherent words. After linking his medical records to the clinic responsible for the fraud, Dr. Nolan decided to only source intel that he could provide to the authorities. But with Dr. Nolan, that is how it always starts until it blows out of proportion, revealing the bigger picture. He traces Ruben Villegas's medical records to a clinic in Seattle, and as he progresses, he realizes that the scheme is actually bigger than he thought. He seeks help from his previous accomplices at the drug cartel crime scene to put a stop to the Medicare crime brought to his doorstep.

The Clock Setter by E.W. Johnson, M.D., is a crime thriller filled with a lot of suspense. I found nothing to dislike about this amazing crime thriller. This was my first read of Dr. Nolan's mysteries, and I look forward to more. I found myself laughing at times at the witty comments and actions of Dr. Nolan and the likes of Jed Marcus and his friend, Jonathan Coleville. I cracked up even more at the fact that Dr. Nolan stole and ripped up Robert's resignation letter.

Also, a satisfying amount of suspense was employed, which made the book a lot more interesting. I kept guessing the next thing that would happen, but I'm glad that the plot wasn't predictable. At times, I felt tense because of how much trouble he was dealing with and how this could put his daughters in harm's way. Dr. Sean Nolan has such an amazing personality and is also one of my favorite characters in the book. His attention to detail and careful observation made him not only a good doctor but also set him up as a good investigator.

I rate this book five out of five stars because not only was it interesting, but I found only one error throughout the entire book, which indicates that this book was professionally edited. Also, I think this book is appropriate for a movie.

Fans of crime thrillers would greatly enjoy this read.

I love suspense and the author and reviewer has promised me that. This book about Dr. Nolan and his patients is a must read. Thanks for building this book and sharing.

I love crime fiction, and the suspense in this review alone makes it more enthralling. I will definitely give it a read.

A crime thriller with a doctor as its protagonist can make for an intriguing storyline, enriched by a well-developed protagonist. I'll look into this series. Thank you for your great review!

Wow I thought at first it was boring after it it twice it is quit interesting. Its about a crime and with a doctor, like bro am going to search it.Thank you.

I haven't been reading C/T/M/H novel, but I believe there are lessons to be learnt from them. This is a captivating and mind-hacking read with a compelling review and I long to read this book and see what you've read.
