The exciting application of technology was a recurring theme in E M P Honeymoon. This book was intriguing to read because of the computers, the machinery, and the programmers. I started to understand the power of effectively utilizing technology. Something as basic as using a phone may be beneficial. The author of this book is Dorothy May Mercer.

The leader of a terrorist organization intended to strike the United States. The terrorists needed a rocket to carry out the operation. He began to construct one with the assistance of General Lee, whom he terrified. The way General Lee conducted this project shows a certain amount of organization and concealment. He first established a location for the engineers to work in the middle of nowhere. The leader split the workers up into several groups. He kept them apart and gave them other project-related duties to complete. He took this action so the employees wouldn't know what they were working on. But he brutally exerted force to control these employees, pushing them to their breaking point. Would he be able to achieve his goals with his ruthless methods of manipulating these people?

This book had a few fascinating topics for me. The collaboration of Kelly, Tom, Sharon, Agatha, and Steve to accomplish a specific objective taught me about teamwork. Despite having varied origins and vocations, they managed to work together to establish a solid force to fight the terrorists. I was impressed by America's display of power against its adversary. I also admired Kim Jung Lo's boldness and friendly nature. He ultimately salvaged the situation and was the unsung hero.

There were a few aspects of this novel that I didn't enjoy. The book did have some suspense, but not enough to make it thrilling. I knew immediately that the story would have an excellent conclusion before starting. My suspicions were confirmed, and there was nothing unexpected or unusual to add intrigue to the storyline.

I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because it has a compelling plot. I didn't discover any errors while reading the book. The editing was outstanding. I suggest this book to anybody who enjoys reading novels about terrorism and technology.
