E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a fantastic piece of fiction that tells the stories of Kelly and Tom Turbulo, a newlywed couple, and other fascinating individuals. Things didn't go as planned for Tom and Kelly's peaceful honeymoon on an island resort. Unintentionally, Kelly came into contact with a terrorist organization. After realizing she had been in danger, she immediately called her brother, Senator Mike McBride, for assistance. Many behind-the-scenes activities occurred during this encounter, and the U.S. government must prevent an attack.

I was engrossed in every moment of this captivating action thriller book. You can read this book outside of the McBride series. The selflessness and patriotism of Tom and Kelly are admirable qualities. Only some individuals can afford to forego their honeymoon to uphold national security. Tom Turbulo worked as a police officer, and Kelly was a computer expert. Their specialized knowledge and abilities considerably benefited the operation. It is the most compatible pair I've ever read about. Any reader will find it hard to put this book down because of how quickly and irresistibly each scene unfolds.

Every page in the book took me to a new one, which made it a pleasure to read. Dorothy's discussion of the nuclear bomb and its potential effects was fantastic. The author has a good writing style. The book was great, and I took away a lot from it, especially how crucial it is to put others before yourself. I particularly appreciate the critical roles performed by the book's characters. The author's creative skills made the characters more believable.

I disliked nothing about this book. The cover was nice. It somehow gave me a clue as to what I was going to read. I admire the author's originality. The book's editor also performed exceptionally, ensuring no flaws or errors.

I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because it clarified the meaning of much technical jargon, including electromagnetic pulses. I don't see any justification for taking away a star. People who love sci-fi books will enjoy reading this book.
