Review of E M P Honeymoon
Following a recent discovery of a potential terrorist threat to the nation's electrical system after a live interview with a nuclear physics professor, the United States now faces significant challenges.
Kelly and Tom, newlyweds who had just celebrated their marriage, embarked on a honeymoon trip to Honduras. During their solo exploration, Kelly stumbles upon a shop named The Pigsty and stumbles upon a clandestine laboratory within it while searching for gifts. In her attempt to comprehend her surroundings, Kelly is pursued by mysterious individuals. She promptly informs her brother, Mike McBride, about her discoveries during the pursuit. The story unfolds as investigations uncover the secrets within The Pigsty that Kelly encountered. McBride, a U.S. Senator, dispatches his security team, led by Cynthia, to Honduras for further inquiries. The shop Kelly discovered serves as a base for the enemy's missile attacks on North America. The CIA, Space Force, and McBride's security team collaborate to devise a rescue plan for the nation. Will they defuse the threat before it detonates? Answers await in this cybercrime thriller.
One of the remarkable facets of E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is its seamless blend of entertainment and education. The author skillfully weaves well-researched information regarding the vulnerabilities of the U.S. power grid to electromagnetic pulse incidents.
