The Date Farm is a Lara and Uri action thriller. I love a good mystery story. It is the genre I usually read for pleasure, and I expected this book to be a real treat to read and review.
Lara and Uri are married and vacationing at Lara's parent's farm in Ohio. The rural setting fascinates and relaxes Uri, and Lara entertains her parents with modified versions of her work. They plan to return to Israel, where Uri is a Mossad agent. A phone call in the middle of the night summons them to California to help with a horrific terrorist attack on innocent people. This brings them back to their war against terrorism. The juxtaposition of their ideal vacation in middle America to the threat against peace makes the urgency of their involvement critical. The strategy planning and action are non-stop. They reassess maneuvers often to keep up with the evil enemy leader. They will travel across the country and across a continent and encounter danger and deception everywhere. They must be careful where they place their trust. They know they can rely on each other. Lara and Uri use their talent and intelligence every step of the way.
The Islamic leader was despicable to me, and I despaired whenever he advanced his goal. I think the deaths were overdone, but I see how they are consequential to the story. I love the scenes of honest and good people forced on the defensive and sometimes winning. There were certain characters I liked and who I feared for their lives. I entered the story and let it affect me. I love that in a book.
Overall, The Date Farm is a good thriller with cringe-worthy scenes. I rate it 4 out of 4 and 5 out of 5 because it was a treat to read. There were no errors, little profanity, and one suggestive sex incident.

I agree with you on this 'Terrorism attacks have been a major form of violence that negatively affects society. Such attacks should be prevented by all means possible in order to protect lives and properties.' This is also why I appreciated Lara and Uri's work.
