The Infidel Factor by Peter James Killeen is a crime thriller that embodies mystery, betrayal, and religious beliefs. The book talks about a well-thought-out plan that aims to unleash terror on the US by killing the pope and spreading disease.

The book talks about Father Dylan McFeely, a former detective turned priest, and Kathleen, a federal agent investigating a plot to assassinate the Pope and unleash a deadly plague in the U.S. A man disguised as a priest starts the spread of a deadly disease and they are left to investigate the people behind it and what their ultimate goal is. Father Dylan McFeely makes many morally conflicting decisions while trying to avert the threat to the US. The story is filled with suspense, uncovering hidden identities, and murders. What will be the fate of the pope? Who is the mysterious priest responsible for the plague, and what link does he have to terrorists? And what will McFeely and Kathleen do to try and stop the attack? Get a copy of this book today and find out.

I like how the details about the terrorist plot were written in this book. The author made sure to give out every important detail to show what the reason for the plan was, why whoever was chosen was chosen, and who were the right characters to try and stop the attack. What made it extraordinary was that all these details were given out at the right time to ensure suspense and cliffhangers were present, and this made the book very compelling to read.

The only thing I disliked about the book was that I was confused about the character of Fr. Assef. However, I found out that it was a plot twist that made me confused, and I would not want to give out spoilers here. Apart from that, I loved all parts of the book. I like how the character of Father Dylan McFeely was made. He was developed in a perfect way that fit the description of what he had to do in his investigations.

I found only one minor error in this book, so it was professionally edited. Due to the absence of any major dislike, I am rating The Infidel Factor by Peter James Killeen 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend the book to people who like crime stories, especially those involving terrorist plots.
