Review of The Manic Mission
Gabe Giordano comes from a wealthy home with a father who made his wealth from his connection with the mob. Gabe isn't like his father and will do anything to prove that he isn't like him. However, Gabe involves himself in some dealings that make him and several people he cares about targets for "The Mafia." Gabe has to find a way out of this mess. Will he succeed? Find out in The Manic Mission.
Mystery and exhilarating action were blended in C.J. Simone's The Manic Mission. The Manic Mission, a book with a unique writing style, would capture the reader's attention and keep it until the end. I got bored at no point during the read, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book.
One thing I liked was the tension that permeated the entire book. The book had mysterious elements. Mysteries would always elicit our desire to solve them. In the case of this book, it meant bringing the story to a satisfying conclusion. The narrative's enigmatic element piqued my attention, as I could not put the book down until I had the answers.
The book also grew on me because of how unpredictable the story was. I could never predict any future occurrence in the book while reading. The author skillfully incorporated unexpected scenes. However, what surprised me the most was the information that emerged regarding how Gabe's father got his first million-dollar deal.
Aside from the unpredictable plot, one of the book's best features was how vividly the author portrayed each scenario. The story played out in front of me. Each scene was vividly depicted and aroused strong feelings in me. An example was when Gabe searched for Claire in a burning building. Due to how it was described, I felt many emotions, like fear for Claire and apprehension about the situation.
I have no issues with The Manic Mission, as it is a fantastic and thrilling book. It is also professionally edited. Therefore, I give it a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. If you enjoy crime fiction, I recommend this book to you.
