Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren is a dark fantasy story about the saga of Crighton, a demon sent by Lucifer to catch the souls of evildoers. The story is divided into two parts. The first part narrates the story of Benjamin Poe, his family, and the events that led him to prison through his encounter with Crighton. The second part narrates the series of events that happened to Crighton, his encounter with Olmsted, and his encounter with Ariel, which led to various events in his life.

In this gripping tale, Crighton, the soul catcher, finds himself entangled in a series of heart-pounding predicaments that add an extra layer of complexity to his challenging assignment. Caught in the crossfire between angels and demons, Crighton's journey takes unexpected twists and turns, injecting the narrative with a thrilling roller coaster of emotions.

What sets this story apart is its unique portrayal of Lucifer, demons, and angels. The unconventional twist of a soul-catching demon compelled to do good, ferrying the souls of evildoers to hell, is not only intriguing but also surprisingly humorous. The narrative cleverly navigates the realms of dark fantasy, offering readers a fresh perspective on the age-old battle between good and evil.

The exploration of Lucifer's motives and the intricate dynamics between celestial beings adds depth to the storyline, leaving readers eagerly turning the pages. The unconventional take on Satan challenges preconceived notions, making the narrative both enjoyable and thought-provoking. For those who revel in dark fantasy, this story promises an experience beyond the ordinary, providing a unique and entertaining journey into the realms of otherworldly beings.

I don't have anything to dislike in the book, as I enjoy the story setting and its writing style. The book is also professionally edited, as I only find a few typos, which does not prevent me from enjoying my reading. With all these factors considered, I'll rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.
