Review of E M P Honeymoon
A thrilling thriller featuring cyber technology, politics, satellites, nuclear bombs, and a hint of romance is E M P Honeymoon. Although it belongs to the McBride series, you can read it separately. The focus of EMP Honeymoon is on Senator Kelly McBride's sister and her spouse, Carson City Police Sergeant Tom Turbulo. Kelly finds a frightening menace at a gift shop big enough to destroy Canada and the United States when they are on their honeymoon. She hurriedly makes a backup call to her brother, the senator. With reinforcements, will they be able to defend their country and everyone they care about?
I was originally confused by the inclusion of "E M P" in the title and its association with a honeymoon when I started reading E M P Honeymoon. As I became lost in the narrative, I learned that "E M P" stood for electromagnetic pulse. The secret to a romantic holiday was still out of reach. But as I got to the end of the novel, I realized why this fascinating combination was made. I gained a lot of knowledge from the author's thorough study while reading, coming across topics like solar flares that were fascinating. Dr. Peter Kinny's interview was quite insightful and demonstrated the author's commitment to accuracy, especially in areas outside of her area of expertise.
In this work, the author's skill in creating each of the main characters is evident. Because each character is so well developed, the story has more depth, and the characters' roles are more relatable. The author's writing style is excellent; it provides a smooth, third-person reading experience. The underlying message of bravery and selflessness that Tom and Kelly represent is my favourite part of the novel. Their choice to put their nation's security ahead of their own pleasure gives the story more complexity and leaves readers with a moving conclusion. The realistic use of technology in this novel was another aspect I found enjoyable.
This book has nothing in it that I didn't enjoy. The unexpected story turns and the numerous unanswered issues the author left for the next installment in the series are what I like most about this book. I'm eager to finish reading the new book when it comes out.
The characters in the novel are what I found appealing; they are incredibly wholesome and give each other a lot of personality. And Kim Jung Lo is my top pick. Even though he assisted the terrorists in carrying out their plot, he was still able to atone for his actions. I also applaud Senator McBride for his brotherly concern; while aware of Kelly's hazards, he chose not to intervene. Rather, while she is busy unleashing her potential, he ensures her safety is protected.
Because this work is so good, I have decided to give it the highest rating possible: 5 out of 5 stars. It was not at all unpleasant. If you read my book, you will comprehend my viewpoint. I finished this book wanting more, which is the main reason I gave it the grade I did. I did not have any specific problems with it. I read this book without finding any errors.
