E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a book featuring Kelly McBride and Tom Turbulo on their honeymoon. Kelly had chosen the best location for their honeymoon — a Caribbean resort island in Honduras on a budget. However, things didn't go as planned.

Kelly, deciding to explore the town while Tom was out on a boat dive, stumbled upon a store. Upon entering, she noticed a separate room with a sign that read, "DANGER, KEEP OUT, EMPLOYEES ONLY" written in both English and Spanish. Out of curiosity, Kelly entered the room, ignoring the warning by the door. She was shocked to find computers, machines, and screens displaying maps of the USA and Canada. Lost in thought at her new discovery, a hand covered her mouth from behind. She manages to escape the grip, leaving her backpack behind. She tried her best and made it back to the resort island, but uncertainty lingered. Was it really an escape? What awaited the rest of her honeymoon, and was her life in danger?

E M P Honeymoon was a captivating story that weaves together elements of romance, mystery, and crime-solving scenes. It has a well-developed and intriguing narrative. The wordings were also very understandable and simple.

I didn't find anything to dislike about the book. I loved the narrative by Scott Ellis on Audible, as it made the novel intriguing, humorous, and highly understandable. The novel was exceptionally educational, and I certainly learned new things. I didn't notice any grammatical errors either; the novel was perfectly edited. I personally believe this book deserves a 5 out of 5 stars because it features well-developed characters and the writer never deviates from the plot.

In conclusion, I would mostly recommend this novel to adults who love literature with a mixture of crime, romance, and mystery. People who love educational literature would definitely enjoy this book as well. However, for someone who loves romance, I doubt if it is the best option for him/her. I enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to more from the author.
