EMP stands for Electro-Magnetic Pulse. It affects every device that works digitally. Dorothy May Mercer explains more about it in her fictional book E M P Honeymoon.

This book is a suspense-thriller that revolves around the honeymoon of Kelly and Tom. It is a gripping tale of love, survival, and resilience. It tests the relationship between Kelly and Tom amidst the chaos.

Kelly, sister of Senator Mike McBride, and Tom Turbulo, Sergent in Carson City Police Department, are a newly wedded couple. They go to the Caribbean Islands for their honeymoon. While enjoying there, Kelly finds a secret high-tech lab with modern types of equipment in the storeroom of a toy shop. Immediately, she contacts Mr. McBride and informs him about the situation. He calls Dr. Joseph, Assistant Director of the CIA, for his suggestions. Kelly and Tom decide to hold their honeymoon and investigate the case. They learn about international intrigue and terrorist involvement from rogue nations. They come to know about electromagnetic pulse explosions. They uncovered the plan to blow up North America with EMP. It wipes out all the modern technology and creates chaotic situations. They fight them to save America. Some important characters in the book are Kelly, Tom, Senator Mike McBride, Dr. Joseph, and Dr. Peter Kinney (Nobel Award winner in nuclear physics). Also, Cynthia Patterson and Colonel Sky Eastman from the book Cynthia and Dan appear here.

The author, Dorothy May Mercer, has created a thrilling book with a gripping plot. She has done an outstanding job in character building. Her writing style is smooth and engaging. She beautifully depicts the vulnerability of Kelly and Tom. Readers can feel the emotions.

Overall, E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a romantic-thriller book that uncovers the suspense around the EMP explosion in North America. The story is fast-paced, which grips the reader's interest and attention. It has very minor romantic scenes. There is nothing negative about the book. The editor has edited it perfectly. Therefore, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed this book a lot. I have read it entirely within two days. I recommend it to readers who love action, thriller, and suspense.
