Review of E M P Honeymoon
Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon transports readers to an exciting Honduran honeymoon as Kelly and Tom set out on an exciting honeymoon. They discover an enigmatic laboratory concealed in La Pocilga, a tourist shop, while traveling. The novel explores the fallout from their findings, highlighting the perils of a covert laboratory. Unbeknownst to them, the laboratory is a front for a covert operation involving terrorists.
There are a few positive parts to this book. It is an important story that raises important issues regarding global safety that are frequently disregarded in public conversation. Mercer deftly examines non-traditional terrorist techniques, such as internet sabotage by electromagnetic pulse, illuminating possible dangers that go beyond typical situations. The story gains complexity from the author's perceptive insight into how future power supplies could be vulnerable to natural disasters like solar flares. The information that forensic sculptors have revealed on bone reconstruction is fascinating and gives readers new perspectives on this area.
The narration is more pertinent because of the plot's rapid speed. There are numerous other characters besides Kelly, Tom, and Mike, such as Peter, Sharon, and Steve. There were also characters from her previous sequel, such as Cynthia. The novel was short, but it included a lot of action and a lot of people. Each chapter is meticulously written, with just the right amount of detail and no superfluous detail. The author's narrative style was fantastic. He inserted lighthearted sequences in between the stressful ones. It made the reading enjoyable, even with the tense parts. He also emphasized the beauty of the places he described with poetry.
There are many positive aspects of the novel, from the way the plot and characters grow to the accurate portrayal of the situations and occurrences. The book was so realistic that I thought I was witnessing an action-crime film. There were moments when I thought the book was happening right then and there. There is a lot of suspense and tension in the novel as well because you are left with unresolved questions in each chapter, which makes you want to go on to the next one.
This book receives a rating of five stars from me. I give this book an A+ because of the captivating story and the author's writing style. Every minute I spent reading his book was enjoyable. This book was expertly written by the author. There were no mistakes in this book. The book was great because there was nothing to dislike about it.
