A crime thriller giving us a glimpse into the competitive and cutthroat business world seems like an exciting read! I love that this book has actual twists and turns that make the ending unpredictable. I'm curious to know more about Max Burns and how events will play out. Thanks for the recommendation! I enjoyed reading this excellent review!

There are two things that really impress me about this review. Firstly, you highlight the author's delivery of a context for the story. I like this because reading that context is likely to be the best gauge of whether to read this book or not as compared to relying only on a review. This is important because I don't dismiss it just because it isn’t my genre. Secondly, you point out that the concluding style of the story is potentially motivated by money. Now that's bold!

This really happens. Business is business. Some businesses negatively affect relationships. The Panama Canal expansion bidding had a detrimental effect on Max and Sarah’s relationship.
Reading is a journey to the world.

While I enjoy thriller books, I'm not sure this one is for me as its main focus is on the project and corporate corruption.

I would definitely want to know how big projects like the Panama Canal are bided and awarded. Great review!

Like a lot of people, I think I'll wait until the next book in the series releases because I just can't stand cliff-hangers. My favorite thing to do with a great series is to finish one book and then immediately go to the next like it's just one giant novel

The first paragraph of this review is alluring and I would love to read the book. It has multiple perspective. Amazing review.
