After eagerly anticipating the continuation of Cynthia and Sky's story from "Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War," I was initially disappointed to find them taking a backseat in "EM P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer. However, my disappointment quickly gave way to intrigue as I delved into the captivating tale of newlyweds Tom and Kelly Turbulo.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of a Honduran island resort, the story takes an unexpected turn when Kelly, while exploring a local shop, stumbles upon a clandestine room housing computers displaying maps of the United States and Canada. This discovery sets off a chain of events that thrusts the couple into the midst of a high-stakes situation involving terrorism and national security.

What ensues is a thrilling rollercoaster ride filled with suspense, action, and unexpected twists. Mercer skillfully weaves together elements of romance, suspense, and technological intrigue, keeping the reader guessing at every turn. Despite occasional confusion in the narrative, particularly during dialogue sequences, the overall pacing and tension of the plot remain consistently engaging.

One of the highlights of the book is the dynamic between Tom and Kelly, whose respective skills—Tom's background in law enforcement and Kelly's proficiency with computers—prove instrumental in navigating the challenges they face. Their relationship is portrayed with depth and authenticity, adding an emotional anchor to the fast-paced plot.

Mercer's attention to detail is evident throughout the novel, particularly in her descriptions of high-tech equipment and the potential consequences of a terrorist attack. While some readers may find the technical aspects daunting, others will appreciate the level of research and authenticity it lends to the story.

Additionally, the book's exploration of themes such as sacrifice, selflessness, and the importance of teamwork adds depth to the narrative, resonating with readers on a personal level.

I found "EM P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer to be an exceptionally well-crafted story. Each plot development flowed smoothly, creating a cohesive and engaging narrative. The editing was flawless, contributing to the overall enjoyment of the book.

Because of its high quality, I'm giving it a perfect 5 out 5-star rating. There wasn't a single aspect of the book that I disliked, and I finished it with a desire for more. This positive experience has motivated me to seek out other works by Mercer. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in thrilling stories about the battle against terrorist organizations seeking control over the US.
