A captivating piece of writing, E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer delves into themes of love, bravery, and the unwavering quest of defending one's country at all costs. The narrative takes place in the colourful backdrop of Honduras, as Colonel Rhee Su-Jin and her commanding officer—who goes by the nickname Dear Leader—plan to carry out a disastrous terrorist attack on US land.

Without its electricity grids, what would America do? Which are all positioned in front of computers? This novel opens your eyes. In Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon, Cynthia Eastman and her group are accompanied by Tom and Kelly (McBride) Turbulo, who are on their honeymoon. There is a genuine risk of an Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) for both the United States and the global community. Dorothy draws the readers' attention to this danger.

The range of adventures in this book surely piqued my interest. I felt that the author's extensive use of comedy in this novel was really well done. The stories' setting scenes were expertly described by the author. The maps at the beginning of the book were also beneficial. Even though this book is part of a series, it works well read on its own. In addition, the plot advances swiftly, and there is almost always a sense of suspense and danger. I also enjoyed the character development in this book. It was easier for me to comprehend the characters and their feelings when I read this book because it gave me the feeling that I was inside their heads. Additionally, I learned a lot about cybersecurity from this book, especially for a country. The book is both educational and amusing overall. It was exceptionally well edited.

Understanding the importance of having national loyalty is essential. I learned from this book that being a patriot and acting like one are two different things. Readers who enjoy romantic suspense novels should read this book, in my opinion. Nothing in this book bothered me at all. As a result, I am awarding it a five out of five star rating.
