Attack From Within is a gripping and intense novel that follows a group of FBI agents as they engage in a high-stakes battle against a powerful Islamic terrorist group, Hezbollah. Written by renowned author James Bultema, this book takes readers on a thrilling journey through the dangerous world of counterterrorism.
 
A young boy named Ahmad struggled with his identity as both an American and a Lebanese person. As he grew up, he faced bullying and discrimination, which hardened him and led him to join a terrorist group called Hezbollah. Agents Harley and Ali were keeping a close eye on a gang member meeting with a member of Hezbollah. The meeting between these two groups raised suspicions of a possible conspiracy or plot. Were the two groups working together? If so, what was there?
 
This book is filled with pulse-pounding action sequences. The tension is palpable as the agents race against the clock to prevent the terrorists from carrying out their deadly plans. Bultema's writing is fast-paced and immersive, drawing readers in with vivid descriptions of the action and a cast of compelling characters who leap off the page. From the determined Agent Harley to the brilliant Naval Officer Sarah, each character brings their own unique strengths to the table, adding depth and complexity to the story.
 
I appreciate the book's unflinching portrayal of the realities of modern terrorism and the toll it takes on those who fight to stop it. Bultema doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of the battlefield, showing the agents' struggles and also the terrorists' side as they navigate a world where the lines between right and wrong blur with every decision they make.
 
I love that the book is written from the perspective of both sides, as it offers a nuanced and complex portrayal of the individuals involved in the conflict. From the perspective of terrorists, the book sheds light on the factors that drive individuals to commit acts of terrorism. It explores the ideology and beliefs that fuel their actions, as well as the personal experiences and grievances that shape their worldview. On the other side of the conflict, the book also provides a compelling look at the FBI agents tasked with stopping the terrorists. It highlights the dedication, skill, and perseverance of these agents as they work tirelessly to prevent attacks and protect the public.
 
There is absolutely nothing to dislike in this book, and it deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It is exceptionally edited and error-free. It is a pulse-pounding thriller that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page. It is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good thriller with a dose of political intrigue.
