Review of E M P Honeymoon
Dorothy May Mercer's book E M P Honeymoon is science fiction in nature. This is a gripping tale about what may happen to North America if terrorists were able to generate an electromagnetic resonance. Excellent character development and a touch of romantic pleasure are added to the plot. Dorothy May Mercer is a successful author and indie publisher of about 60 books on a range of subjects. "E M P Honeymoon" is her twelfth book in what she refers to as her "reality-fiction" genre, in which she takes a real-life problem and creates an amusing "what-if" tale with bad guys, heroes and heroines, great characters, mystery twists and turns, a storybook romance, and an enjoyable ending. I loved this book.
Kelly and Tom are enjoying their honeymoon when they find themselves caught up in the tragedy. This is a thrilling adventure in which a tenacious little group of Americans attempt to avert calamity. Kelly and Tom were married quite some time ago. They went on a pleasant honeymoon to a resort island, but it didn't turn out exactly as planned. Kelly faced a scary terrorist cell while in a marketplace. She immediately called her brother, Senator Mike McBride, for support. Her brother assisted her and made arrangements for her security.
Then a few more individuals accompanied them, and they collaborated to combat this challenge, but they had no idea how the attack was going to progress initially. They did what an intelligent individual would do. Many attempts were mentioned as being made to prevent terrorist strikes. They launched the inquiry. They worked as a group. I appreciate how suspenseful and intriguing it is. I appreciate the author's writing manner; she presented everything succinctly.
I genuinely enjoyed the entire book from beginning to end. The book deftly blends science fiction, political intrigue, and courage. I appreciated how the author provided suspense. I liked every character in this tale. This book puts you on edge, wondering what is going to happen next. I only wish there had been more romance because this book is named EMP Honeymoon, and more romance, in my opinion, is required, but that does not prevent me from giving this book a perfect rating. The book is so well-edited that I could not find a single grammatical error, so I'm giving it five out of five stars. This book contains obscene language. There was nothing I disliked about this book. I recommend this book to anyone who appreciates science fiction.
