Kelly explored the island on a bus, discovering a toy pig window display that fascinated her. Seeking gifts for her family, she entered the shop and encountered a mysterious surprise. For more, check out E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer, where intrigue and adventure await.

Tom Turbulo and Kelly McBride, a newlywed couple, embarked on their honeymoon on a resort island off Honduras. During her exploration, Kelly discovered a peculiar gift shop operation and was attacked by a man inside. Fearful and alone, she contacted her brother, Senator McBride, who initiated an investigation team with a CIA agent. The team aimed to uncover the enigma behind the gift shop, which led to the discovery of a mysterious operation. As the investigation deepened, the team questioned the motives and potential impact of the operation. With time running out, they faced the challenge of thwarting the plans or facing the consequences of the operation spiralling out of control.

This book impressed me with its compelling characters, particularly Kim Jung Lo, who demonstrated exceptional courage, intelligence, and resourcefulness. His plan to escape the camp showcased his tactical skills, such as befriending the dogs and crafting survival tools. The most memorable part was his innovative use of doggy urine and faeces to evade tracking dogs, highlighting his determination and ingenuity. Overall, the book was a captivating read with well-developed characters.

One thing I disliked about the book was that it had some lightheartedness in serious situations, maintained suspense, and showcased the author's writing skills. The orderly scene progression facilitated following the events, and the story captured my interest, climaxing without loose ends. Despite minor reservations, the book was engaging and well-organised.

I give this book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars rating for its flawless editing and thrilling storyline. While the joviality of Kelly and her team slightly lessened the suspense, it remains a solid thriller. Recommended for fans of terrorism-themed thrillers seeking a well-crafted and engaging read.
