Kelly and Tom, a devoted couple who have long awaited their union, embark on their honeymoon to the Caribbean island of Honduras. A testament to their enduring affection, they manage to carve out time from their busy lives—he as a police sergeant and she as a computer science graduate—to enjoy a well-deserved break together. However, their idyllic retreat is marred by an unforeseen event. Faced with this dilemma, will they return home prematurely or choose an alternative path? During her honeymoon, Kelly stumbles upon an unknown terrorist operation disguised as a gift shop. Intent on buying gifts for her relatives, she unwittingly discovers the hidden zone. The terrorists spot her and give chase. Kelly flees for her life, desperately trying to reach her brother. Meanwhile, her brother contacts the CIA to report the situation. Further investigation by Cynthia reveals that these terrorists are planning a devastating attack on the US—one involving an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). Determined to prevent this catastrophe, Cynthia is prepared to do whatever it takes to bring down these terrorists. The question remains: Will they be apprehended in time?

Dorothy May Mercer shines as an author, with her inventive storytelling clearly on display. The aspect of the book that I liked the most was the unexpected plot development. The seamless transition from a purely romantic tale to a gripping, suspense-filled thriller is a testament to the overall excellence of the book. I couldn't find any negative aspects in this book. It was a great and compelling read.

This book undoubtedly deserves the highest praise. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The compelling storyline and the author’s distinctive writing approach are the reasons for my full rating. The book is exceptionally well edited. I recommend this book to readers who are interested in romance and action books.
