"E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer is a really great book. The realistic portrayal of the book's characters heightens the sense of dread that the world as we know it is in peril. Without a doubt, this is a gripping read that gives a terrifying behind-the-scenes look at somewhat plausible situations. In this endearing story, you will meet Kelly McBride Turbulo and Tom Turbulo, the two major protagonists. Kelly McBride and Sergeant Tom, newlyweds, are spending their honeymoon at a gorgeous resort in Honduras. In a pigsty shop, Kelly McBride was attacked while she was buying gifts for her family. She managed to fight her way out and gave Senator Mike a call.

I learned a few things from this book, such as the threat posed by electromagnetic pulse weapons, the importance of always being prepared for everything, and the necessity of never ruling out even the most unlikely scenario.

Although there were a few typographical errors, I enjoyed a lot of things about this book after reading it, beginning when she first saw the bear man. She is obviously quite intelligent because it was really wise of her to get away from the man. Despite being a woman, she has a nice heart and considered her husband before acting. This might have caused her to manage the situation sensibly and avoid involving her husband in it, demonstrating her competence as a police officer. I thought the book cover was appealing and compelling, the author's style of presentation was engaging, and the writing was simple to read and easy to follow. There was nothing about this book that I didn't like; the editing wasn't up to par, though.

I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 because it taught me a lot of ideals and values that I should live by and put into practice since, as they say, practice makes perfect. I recommend this book to every young couple in the United States.
