EMP Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a thrilling romance novel about two couples, Kelly and Tom, fresh from their wedding, who are having a time of relaxation on their honeymoon in Honduras. It’s all sun, sea, and smiles until Kelly hops on a tour bus to explore, leaving Tom to his scuba adventures. She’s hunting for the perfect souvenirs when she wanders into a shop. But something’s off; the place is deserted, with not a soul in sight. Curiosity gets the better of her, and she stumbles upon a hidden area that screams trouble. Suddenly, their tropical paradise turns into a scene from a spy thriller. She was attacked at the shop but managed to escape. She then informed her brother, Senator Mike. Kelly discovered that the store was used as a facade to carry out terrorist attacks, as they planned to attack Central America. Their honeymoon evolved into a mission to stop the planned terrorist attack as they teamed up with the appropriate authorities to protect their nation.

This group of terrorists is dead set on their mission, ready to pull off a disaster with an EMP attack that could knock out whole countries and cause chaos everywhere. They think this diabolical plot will let them call the shots and shape the world as they see fit. As Kelly and Tom dig deeper, they start to see just how dangerous and driven this crew is. With her brother and a few good friends in their corner, they’re racing against the clock to stop these guys before they can unleash their destructive plan. The book is exceptionally well edited.

Dorothy has a real knack for storytelling that just grabs you in suspense. Reading her book was a blast—it really got me excited. She has a way of bringing in fresh perspectives that make you think about the big, scary stuff like nuclear bombs in a whole new light. And the characters? They’re so relatable; it’s easy to get wrapped up in their world. I have no dislikes about the book. The story has a lot of characters, each doing their own thing, so it’s more like an ensemble cast than having just one main star. Honestly, it’s a wild ride from start to finish, packed with thrills, chills, and a touch of romance. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The book is a compelling read. I strongly recommend this book if you are ready for an electrifying adventure into the world of intrigue, danger, and resilience.

Decent review. I like your use of the word facade. Somehow I never heard of that word before until earlier this year. I think your review is well worded in general.
