"E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer goes beyond the typical conventions of romance books, combining a compelling story of love with elements of espionage and peril. The narrative centers on newly married CCPD Sgt. Tom and his wife, Kelly, whose peaceful honeymoon at a tranquil island resort in Honduras suddenly shifts when they uncover a terrorist conspiracy targeting the United States.

The story begins with Kelly's simple trip to a nearby Pigsty gift shop, only to find out it is a front for an advanced computer facility. She almost gets into trouble because of her curiosity, and she barely avoids being harmed. Kelly and Tom committed to solving the mystery and joined forces with CIA Special Agent Steve Spalding and two capable bodyguards, Sharon and Agatha. United, they endanger themselves to stop the upcoming danger.

Mercer's adept storytelling is evident in the book's quick-paced and exciting storyline. She expertly builds her characters, ensuring each one is both memorable and essential to the narrative. Kelly's courage and smarts, combined with Tom's resolve and knowledge of law enforcement, create a powerful team. Sharon and Steve, in particular, bring complexity and fascination to the story.

Although filled with action, Mercer skillfully incorporates elements of humor and romance, creating a comprehensive reading journey. The charming subplot of Sharon and Steve's relationship adds a level of interest to the story. Nevertheless, the depiction of Colonel Rhee Su-Jin as proficient yet surprisingly timid offers an intriguing contrast. Moreover, the book is professionally crafted and edited perfectly, and it has no grammatical errors.

To summarize, "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer is an exciting adventure that will captivate readers. There are no negative points to discuss because it deserves a superb rating of 5 out of 5 stars for successfully blending romance, action, and suspense into a compelling narrative.

Fans of crime and spy genres will be interested in the book's concentration on a terrorist scheme and the participation of law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
