Review of E M P Honeymoon
[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
The captivating science fiction novel E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer centers on Tom and Kelly, a couple soon to be married and eager to have a leisurely vacation on a resort island. Kelly discovered a hazardous terrorist cell that was active on the island, which caused a disruption to their holiday. Kelly calls her brother, Senator McBride, after realizing how serious the issue is and that she is being pursued. Tom and Kelly start to piece together the terrorists' plans and enigma with Senator McBride's help. They learn that the terrorists are preparing to unleash a highly advanced nuclear bomb capable of destroying all of North America. What steps will they take right away to make sure the terrorist's scheme is thwarted? Will they be successful? Continue reading to find out more.
This book's character growth was one of my favorite aspects. This book was made more interesting and enjoyable to read since each character performed their roles to the highest standard and displayed bravery, tenacity, and cooperation. With comedy and tension, the action scenes in this book illustrate the many difficulties and roadblocks the characters encountered while navigating the perilous world of terrorism. These included dodging the terrorists' monitoring and discovering the location of their covert base. This book was carefully edited and is error-free. Cooperativeness and patriotism are two topics this book addresses. This book had nothing that I didn't like. Everything about it was perfect.
I suggest this book to readers who enjoy science fiction as well as fast-paced thrillers. For anyone looking for an exciting, suspenseful, and thrilling adventure, this book is a must-read because of Mercer's skillful storytelling and well-crafted scenario. I give this book a total rating of five stars because of its interesting plot and well-developed characters. I cherished the connections between the characters in this novel because they demonstrated the strength of friendship and teamwork in overcoming hardships.
