E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a book that tells the fascinating story of a honeymoon adventure and some interesting parts of science. The story begins with Kelly and Tom Turbulo, a couple who traveled to the Caribbean island for their honeymoon; little did they know of the activities being carried out there. On a certain day, Kelly engaged in an outdoor activity and went into what she thought was a gift shop to buy gifts for her loved ones, where she discovered a dangerous plan being carried out by some group of people. Kelly, finding out she had come across something dangerous, reached out to her brother, Senator Mike McBride, to ask for help. A lot of drama developed as a result of the CIA's involvement as well. This book also discussed the evolution of science and technology in today's world compared to before, and certain aspects of science were used in this story.

I liked how the story transcends from the couples on their honeymoon to the groups involved in the process of launching the attack and the team involved with keeping Kelly safe. At the center of it all was the relationship between Sharon and Steve, the CIA operative, which I liked. I thought it was great that everyone was working together to thwart the attack and that one of the people who made the missile also made an effort to render it ineffective. The book passed on some scientific knowledge, and it discussed how the world has dwelt on technology. It was also a suspense-filled book.

There was nothing about this book that I didn't like, as it was exceptionally well written and edited. Given the previously mentioned factors, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

People who enjoy science and technology and a gripping narrative should read this book, in my opinion.
