After successfully pulling off his first con, Morrow is hired as a PI by Langley Oil to find four employees who embezzled $26 million. However, all evidence points to the contrary. There is no trace of the money in any of the employees accounts. One night, after a drink or two, Morrow is kidnapped. Will Morrow and his team figure out who the real player is? Most importantly, will any of them get out of this alive?

The book picks up pace in the first chapter after having trapped you in the story. The novel is full of suspense that grips your heart. I expected it to be predictable. Morrow would plan the heist, assemble a cool team, and encounter minor issues that would be solved by having a few tricks up his sleeve. However, it was anything but usual. It was humour-filled with easy-going characters. Earl also managed to carve out a personality for each side character in less than three hundred pages, taking care to make them relatable. James Earl flawlessly enacted the three-arc story structure. There were no plot holes, and the plot kept unfolding like origami. Morrow, as a character, was well crafted. He had emotional depth and internal conflicts. There was also significant character growth by the end of the novel. The interactions between the cast of characters were smooth and felt natural. Despite the large number of characters, they all felt tangible and human.

I did not particularly hate or dislike any aspect of the novel. The book was exceptionally edited, since I found almost no errors.

If you are itching for a mind-boggling novel that will remain in your thoughts even after you put down the book, this one is for you. Young adults and adults will equally enjoy this novel. Those who like fast-paced novels should give this one a try. Considering all the above arguments, I rate Knight's Tour five out of five stars.
