"EMP Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer is a thrilling science fiction novel. It follows Kelly and Tom Turbulo, a married couple, on their honeymoon. Their vacation is disrupted when Kelly accidentally discovers a terrorist group. Realizing the danger, she contacts her brother, Senator Mike McBride, for help. Mike then reaches out to his friend, Assistant Director Joseph. They uncover a plot to attack North America, and the race begins to stop it.

This book is packed with action and suspense. Although it's part of the McBride series, you don't need to read the others to enjoy this one. The characters make significant sacrifices, pausing their honeymoon to protect their country. Kelly's computer skills and Tom's experience as a policeman are vital to their mission. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger, making it hard to stop reading.

Dorothy May Mercer writes in a way that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Her descriptions of the potential nuclear threat are vivid and intense. The characters are well-developed and feel real, adding depth to the story. The book also teaches the importance of selflessness through the characters' actions.

I really liked the interview with Dr. Peter Kinney. He explained solar flares and EMP in a simple way. It was my favorite part because he made a complex topic easy to understand.

I have no problems with this book. The characters felt like real people you meet every day. I admired how everyone worked together to protect the country from danger. The author showed great creativity, and the editor did a great job since the book had no errors.

The book is well-written and edited, with no errors. The teamwork among the characters is inspiring as they unite to prevent a disaster. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys suspense, thrillers, and action stories. It deserves a 5 out of 5 star rating for its engaging plot and educational value.
