The Attunist (the third book of the Attune Trilogy) by Gary B. Haley, (in my humble opinion), is a five-star, “edge-of-the-seat,” riveting sci-fi thriller with touches of romance and comedy! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! The author has The Attunist (minus his FBI girlfriend, Carla, whom he really misses) traipsing through jungles and oceans in third-world countries, working on his goal of ridding the world of the cocaine fields, child trafficking, and any other crimes against children. The years he spent working for the government, especially in the “secret” department, ended up giving him a "superpower," which made for even more excitement!

The character was so engaging, that I found myself imagining what actor would play the part in a movie! Also, the scenery was so picturesque, that I felt like I was right there! I was automatically cheering for the main characters throughout the book. The sense of humor balanced out the romance in exactly the right scenes throughout the read and the “superpower” of the main character was amazing and even believable.

The background and imagination of the author add color and substance to the pages, as well as a hint of what or where you can reference the places and characters in real life. The editing is accurately done, I found no typing errors and I do not recommend any changes for the storyline. The ending is a very satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. I, personally, appreciate that in a book!

I highly recommend the Attune Trilogy, especially The Attunist, to anyone who loves a good thriller with a touch of “magic!” I only reviewed the third book and I intend to (on my own time) read the first two books because I loved how the story was written! I would highly recommend this book to friends and family! So, if you are settling down on a cozy day, pick up the Attune Trilogy and start reading! Before you know it, you will be entranced in the imagination of the author and eventually will not be able to put the book down!
