Reading Knight’s Tour by Earl James, I found myself engrossed in an interesting tale of cunning and strategy. The book follows Morrow, a seasoned con man, as he participates in a complex scheme involving a fake auction and a priceless Ming vase. This novel combines elements of suspense, humour, and plot twists that kept me turning pages late into the night.

One aspect I enjoyed was the character development. Morrow, with his blend of street smarts and sophisticated planning, comes across as a versatile character who you can’t help but root for, despite his morally ambiguous profession. The author’s understanding of human nature and his ability to create a believable and engaging story are evident in the way he crafts the story plot. The con itself, a blend of smaller lies and strategic moves, is like in the chess game, where every piece has a role and one wrong move can lead to disaster. From a technical perspective, the editors professionally edited the book, ensuring there were no noticeable typos or grammatical errors. This added to my smooth reading experience, allowing me to stay engrossed in the story without distraction.

I rate this book five out of five stars for the following reasons: The storytelling is top-notch, with a plot that keeps you guessing and characters that feel real and relatable. The professional editing ensures a smooth read, and the author’s deep understanding of con games and human behaviour is evident in every part of the book. I found no negatives in the book, which is a testament to the author’s skill and the quality of the story.

I recommend this book to fans of crime thrillers, con stories, and anyone who enjoys a well-written, suspenseful read. This book is also a great pick for readers who appreciate strong character development. This book is an entertaining novel that will leave you eagerly anticipating the next book in the Morrow’s Con series.
