Did you ever think you just read the best hook at the beginning of a book? EMP Honeymoon, written by Dorothy May Mercer, may have that beat. This writer draws you in immediately and keeps you entertained the whole way through. She grabs your attention and does not let it go. As you read along, the book pulls more of your imagination in and twines it efficiently with her story. Not only are you thoroughly entertained during the whole of this book, but it has so many layers that keep you on the edge of your seat, peeling back each discovery as you read along. This book places you in an environment where you wish to be with people you wish to know. Somehow, Dorothy May Mercer places you under a spell with her storywriting, weaving your mind and her storyline together. This author researched a lot for the writing of this book, and it shows. All factual things remain factual, and not a detail is left out of place. The flawless editing made it a breeze to read without getting hung up or distracted by mistakes or grammar. This book is extremely well written, flowing perfectly from scene to scene and chapter to chapter. There is not one criticism to mention, as this book is on top of the game. The storyline is absolutely amazing, the humor is perfectly injected where it needs to be, and the characters are well-rounded and not flat and superficially scripted! Dorothy May Mercer made sure to fill out her characters, leaving any blandness behind. It is easy to connect to these characters and get caught up in the plot. EMP Honeymoon is definitely worth reading! Out of 5 stars, I would rate this book a solid 5 stars. Most importantly, the ending of this book leaves you feeling elated and satisfied.
