Untouchable by Charles Alexander

This is the first novel in the Annie Steel series, featuring Annie as the main protagonist. The series promises to challenge conventions and present unforeseen challenges, showcasing how Annie navigates them. The story is fast-paced, akin to the best action movies, combining a strong plot with suspense and a touch of romance, illustrating the intriguing narrative the author has crafted.

Annie comes from a family deeply entrenched in the service of their country: her father was an officer, her brother served in the force, and her sister was deployed in war zones. Following in their footsteps, Annie also joined the force, embodying the values of an upright citizen. However, her life has been marked by a series of personal tragedies—the deaths of her brother, sister, and finally, her father, who was her strongest supporter alongside her dead Uncle Greg. Driven by grief, Annie sets out to avenge her father's death, unknowingly uncovering a massive scandal involving terrorists planning to attack America with a warhead.During her mission, Annie survives a staged attack and a subsequent fatal shot to the head. Miraculously, she heals within minutes, feeling no pain. Is this a miracle, an out-of-body experience, or the work of science? To find out, you'll need to read the novel.

This incident marks the beginning of Annie Steel's extraordinary journey. At the accident scene, she meets her future lover, Bobby, who is willing to give up everything to be with her. Will Annie avenge her father? Will Bobby aid her? Can the FBI, Homeland Security, and the entire U.S. force stop the terrorist threat, or is it Annie's destiny to save the day? These questions are answered in the book.

I appreciate the author's solid plot and descriptive writing style, introducing each character in scenes that highlight their relevance. The characters are vividly portrayed, and the story's progression is engaging. I found nothing to criticize about the book; it has a solid plot, a fast pace, and is full of suspense—truly a page-turner.

If you enjoy the novel, which I guarantee you will, the next series will be even more enjoyable. The book is well edited, and I found no errors while reading, which is commendable. I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to all adults who enjoy a great story filled with action, thrills, and suspense.

Wow, Elizabeth, I will have to read this book! Thanks to your well-written and informative review, I know this story will entertain me from beginning to end. Annie, an exciting character, is surrounded by other strong characters, who will hold my interest. I want to know if Annie can do what the FBI, Homeland Security, and the entire U.S. force are trying to do, which is to stop the terrorist threat. I am looking forward to reading this page turner. :techie-studyinggray:
