Dorothy May Mercer's book, E M P Honeymoon, tells a fictional story with lots of action, suspense, and romance. It's about a terrorist attack in North America using a weapon called an electromagnetic pulse. This pulse disrupts electronics and causes power outages in homes and other locations.

Kelly and her new husband, Sergeant Tom, were enjoying their honeymoon in Honduras. One sunny day, Kelly decided to join a tour bus to explore the island and do some shopping. She found a souvenir shop and wanted to buy toys for her family after their honeymoon. But she couldn't find any store workers to help her. Curious, she searched the shop and discovered a hidden computer lab inside, which was actually a secret base for terrorists. As she explored, she was attacked, but bravely fought back and escaped. Kelly quickly contacted her brother, Senator Mike, who told Tom about her dangerous situation. Meanwhile, the CIA gathered a team to stop the terrorists' planned attack.

What I really liked about this book was the story. It was very interesting. I especially liked seeing how the team worked together to get things done, which showed me how important teamwork is. The book explores themes like fear, bravery, humor, and working together. The author did a great job explaining the electromagnetic pulse attack and what it did. Even if you don't know much about it, you could understand. The author used simple words that made the book easy to understand. Both the main characters and the other characters were well described. I also liked how real the setting felt. With its exciting scenes, plans, terrorist hideouts, and technology, it feels like it would be a great movie. When I read the book, I didn't find any mistakes; it was edited perfectly.

I give this book a perfect score of 5 out of 5 because it shows how important it is for people to love their country. With support from her brother, Senator McBride, and CIA agent Steve, we see a regular couple on their honeymoon doing important things to prevent a terrorist attack. I recommend this book to all young couples.
