Review of E M P Honeymoon
On a Caribbean island, Kelly and Sergeant Tom Turbulo, a married couple, were enjoying their honeymoon. While Kelly was touring the island, Tom was investigating the coral reefs. Kelly found a hidden area with a lot of computers. Despite the attack, she was able to get away. She contacted her brother, Senator Mike, on the phone because she was so scared. They quickly learned that an attack on the US was still in the works.
She was too knowledgeable, and she thought the terrorists would come for her. Mike gave the CIA a call. Turbulence was the target of Agent Steve's observation assignment. The terrorists' plans, whether they were successful in their scheme, and whether the US government was able to halt it are all detailed in Dorothy May Mercer's EMP Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom.
The way Dorothy blended romance with action and humor made this book fascinating. I laughed much of the time reading it. It was fascinating to read about the degree of technology utilized and explained in the book, and I'm sure Dorothy did a ton of studying before writing it. Additionally, I think that Dorothy did a great job of defining the responsibilities that each character in the book had.
In addition, Dorothy's portrayal of the US military demonstrated that it was the greatest military power in the world. The part where Sharon and Steven got along despite their initial animosity toward one another was my favorite. The degree to which Kelly and Tom could tell the difference between their personal and work lives was astounding. Because he was a fantastic commander with many commendable traits, General Lee was my favorite character in the novel. Because of her affection for her family and her tendency to lavish them with gifts, Cynthia was the character that I enjoyed the most. Images are used in the book to aid readers in understanding specific parts of the text.
I give this book five stars because it was really easy to understand, and I didn't see any reason not to appreciate it. Teenagers sixteen years of age and older, as well as those who enjoy reading thrillers, should definitely pick up this book. While reading this book, I came across a few mistakes that demonstrate how well edited E M P Honeymoon: Kelly & Tom by Dorothy May Mercer was.
