E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a book that takes readers on a journey with newlywed couples Kelly and Tom, who go on a lovely honeymoon on the Caribbean island. Kelly, with her curious mind, while exploring a gift store, stumbled upon a terrorist lab where she saw a computer displaying the North American Power Grid, revealing the dangerous plan of the terrorists to carry out an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack. This discovery drastically shifted Kelly's mind from her honeymoon to trying to uncover the plans of the terrorists. This discovery led her to contact her brother, Senator Michael MacBride, who helped put together special operations teams to help investigate and put an end to the terrorist plan.

One standout highlight for me in this book is the wonderful writing style. It was very engaging and accessible for me, which improved my reading experience in general. The way the author expertly combined science fiction, romance, and thriller moments into an engaging story is something very commendable. The words used were easy to understand. A good example is how the author expertly broke down the concept of electromagnetic pulse technology, its potential effects, and the scientific principles behind it. The author provided clear and understandable explanations that readers like me, who had no idea of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) technology before reading this book, were able to fully understand. This not only enhances the overall reading experience of the book but also adds extra educational value to it.

In terms of dislikes, I found none in this book. The book was edited superbly well, as I was unable to find any grammatical errors of any sort. I give credit to the author for this, as it's a good display of the author's incredible work ethic and determination to ensure that readers had a wonderful, incredible experience. I give this book a perfect rating of five out of five stars for its educational value and the author's clear writing style.
