A pervert is found talking to little kids at the park. In response to this, Charles Chivers and his team are assigned to look into the matter. Will they be able to solve this mystery, or will he be allowed to slip right under their noses? Get this book, “The International Detective” by Graham Oxley, to find out.

Charlie interviews some little girls concerning this pervert, and he is informed that the stranger tries to lure them away by showing them cute little puppies. Millie's grandmother takes Millie to the park and gets distracted for a moment. She is stunned to find out that her beloved granddaughter is nowhere to be found. Investigations begin, and one thing leads to the other. All the clues lead to Jacques Crossley, but is he the real culprit, or is there more to this story than meets the eye?

This book discusses issues such as mental health, sexual abuse, divorce, family, and so on. I like that the author uses easy language to relate to the readers. The plot is a simple one, and the major characters have some elements of depth to them. I found the plot to be unique and was shocked at what Hilda Crossley did to her own son. At the end of the book, I find her actions quite understandable.

There are some negative aspects I discovered in the book. I find the subsequent happenings in the book quite predictable, as one could easily spot the culprit in the book from the descriptions given. Again, I felt like the book's ending was rushed, which shouldn't be. As a result, I rate it 4 out of 5 stars. I admire the book’s flawless editing, as I couldn’t spot any errors.

I recommend this book to lovers of thrillers, mystery, and intrigue. Again, if you’re inclined towards good family values, then this book is also for you.

This sounds like an interesting book, although I think you have spoiled who the true criminal is in your book already. That and the predictable nature of the book will be a turn-off for me I think. Thank you for your review!

This thriller explores some dark sides of humanity and develops some important themes. Too bad some crucial parts of the plots are predictable, making it more suitable for readers interested in the book's themes than for mystery experts. Thank you for your great review!
