The novel centers around newlyweds Kelly and Tom, who plan to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing honeymoon on a serene Caribbean island. However, their vacation takes an unexpected turn when Kelly discovers a lab filled with monitoring devices while exploring a quaint gift shop. This discovery sets off a chain of events that turns their romantic getaway into a high-stakes mission to protect the United States from a looming terrorist threat.
