Review of E M P Honeymoon
[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
“EMP Honeymoon” by Dorothy May Mercer is a thrilling novel set on a Caribbean island where newlyweds Kelly McBride and Sgt. Tom Turbulo are on their honeymoon. While Tom is diving, Kelly stumbles upon suspicious activities, including a hidden high-tech lab. She avoids a showdown and then gets in touch with her brother, Senator McBride. The ethical couple soon gets involved in a plot by a dictatorial character known as Dear Leader, who wants to execute a nuclear strike on North America using an EMP from the Honduras area. An undercover team that has hacking ability assists in discovering the launch pad and missile; however, they are unknown to a nuclear warhead until the tension rises at the climax.
It addresses and raises awareness about pressing global safety concerns that are rarely brought to the limelight. Mercer imagines new types of terrorist threats and the possible weaknesses of future sources of electrical power, including, for instance, solar storms. “E M P Honeymoon” by Dorothy May Mercer is an international crime thriller that blends romance, action, crime, and suspense. I was happy to read it, because this article was exactly what I needed. The cast was highly memorable, and the hero, Steve, a CIA agent, was perfect in every sense of the word, starting with his ability to handle women and ending... Steve’s and Sharon’s gradual love interest brought more depth to the movie’s plot.
when teaching EMP technology or any basic concept in general to a tech-savvy audience. The author effectively outlines EMP technology and its consequences in simple, clear language so the audience, many of whom may not know anything about EMP technology, will understand. The decisive narration of the author made the story more vivid, and the description of various aspects of the rocket that was carrying the EMP device was also well depicted. The book is packed with suspense, mystery, and thrilling adventures. I found nothing to dislike about this book. It is exceptionally well edited.
If you love fast-paced thrillers with both personal and global stakes, this book is a must-read. It’s an exhilarating adventure from beginning to end, perfect for fans of thrillers, suspense, and action-packed stories.
