The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is a book that entails how special agents Lara Edmond and her husband Uri Levin's vacation at Lara's family farm was cut short after an attack on a Beverly Hills shopping mall, which led to the loss of numerous lives. The couple were summoned to participate in the investigation of why the attack occurred. Another attack was carried out on the federal reserve and chase Manhattan banks. Who were the people carrying out these attacks? Were these attacks linked? What was the purpose of these attacks? Read this amazing book to find out.

I enjoyed this book as it was suspense-filled and written in a way that keeps you anticipating what comes next. The author did a good story-telling job by alternating between the characters as they all shared their experiences and emotions, such as the activities of the agents, the terrorist group and their leader, the other federal agencies involved, and more. The affection between the couple was portrayed in this book, as well as their loyalty and devotion towards the country they serve. This book really passed on knowledge on how advanced technology is in the world right now, information on what rhenium was and its importance in the production of a specific type of aircraft, which is the F35, and even little bits of geography were shared, such as neighboring countries and borders, and the existence of these agencies, such as the FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, Joint Terrorism Task Force, and more, and their common goal of achieving a country free from threats and terrorism.

There was nothing about this book that I didn't like, as it was exceptionally well written and edited. Given the previously mentioned factors, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I suggest this book to anybody who enjoys thrilling novels.
