Imagine waking up one day and not remembering anything. This was similar to the case of John Gowan of Blanworth. John Gowan views the attack on the New Zenith building as a chance to realize his dream of redesigning the building. He was going to get this contract and fulfill his dream. John’s plans came through, but they were cut short after he was involved in an accident. He wakes up to discover three and a half years have passed. However, he has no memory of anything he has achieved, and whenever he tries to look at the design or discuss the project, everything seems blurry to him. This situation is strange to him, and John is eager to understand this condition. He is determined to focus on only what truly matters.

Martin Kendall's writing is a masterclass in character development and storytelling. He creates well-developed characters with backstories, making them engaging and relatable. The plot is thought-provoking and made me reflect on my life and goals. John’s journey to find peace and happiness is authentic, mirroring societal challenges and making the narrative powerful and relevant. John's honesty and character development were beautiful to read about, and it taught me to strive for important things and what truly matters. The message about society's judgmental attitudes and resistance to differing viewpoints is clear, powerful, and relatable. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat, and I wanted to know all about John. His nature and determination added depth to his character.

There was no downside to this psychological novel. The intended messages were passed successfully without affecting the overall enjoyment of the plot. The editing was perfectly done, and I did not come across any form of error in it. I rate The Freedom Building 5 out of 5 stars because of the reasons listed above. Lovers of psychological novels should read this one.
