Review of E M P Honeymoon
Have you ever read a book with a rich depth of information? And also has a wonderful and interesting narrative that can keep your eyes glued to its pages. E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer certainly ticks all these boxes. This is a story that follows a newlywed couple, Kelly and Tom, who went on a lovely honeymoon trip on the Caribbean island. Kelly, euphoric about her exciting honeymoon, decided just to take a little stroll around the island. During her stroll, she came across a shop, stepped into it, and saw a computer lab. In this lab, one of the computers displayed a map of the United States and Canada. Kelly was trying to connect the dots if the display she saw had any relation with the North American Grid, which she had previously heard about in one of her classes. Kelly, in her mind, knew that there was something fishy behind this and decided to get into in-depth research. Kelly called her brother, Senator Michael MacBride, to join her in this investigation. Would you like to follow Kelly on this exciting adventure? Give this book a read.
I want to say from the jump that the author Dorothy May Mercer has the best storytelling skills I have seen. The author has this ability in her writing style to match perfectly with the book's overall narrative. The author's ability to even keep readers in suspense with wise use of language is something to be admired. It felt like I was watching a movie when I was reading this book. The descriptive approach of the author made it easy for me to visualise the action in my head and also improved the plot's realism for me. I want to also commend the author on the depth of information in this book; from scientific terminologies to historical details, the author sprinkled information all around this book, which also improves the book's information depth.
Overall, I give this book a perfect rating of five out of five stars for the many reasons I have stated previously. I had no dislikes of any sort in this book, so there was no reason to deprive it of a perfect rating. I want to also highlight how exceptionally well this book was edited, as I found no grammatical errors of any sort. Furthermore, I recommend this book to readers who enjoy books with action-packed narratives.
