What would you do to protect the things that matter most? In Jack Winnick’s heart-pounding thriller, a daring duo takes on a perilous mission to safeguard their nation. FBI agent Lara Edmond and her ally, Mossad agent Uri Levin, join forces to thwart a devastating terrorist assault on the United States and unravel the mysteries of a shadowy extremist group. Get ready for a pulse-pounding adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Lara and Uri’s family vacation turned into a nightmare when they got a call about a horrific terrorist attack at a mall. And then, just weeks later, another attack happened. It became clear that an Iranian terrorist group was on a mission to destroy America and steal a super-valuable resource. Now, it was up to Lara, Uri, and their team to stop them and retrieve the stolen goods. But as they dug in, they realized this was more than just a dangerous job—it was a journey into the twisted world of terrorism and extremist networks.

I loved how the author broke down every detail, making it super easy to follow along and visualize the story. And let’s be real, the couple’s selfless sacrifice is seriously admirable—who puts their holiday on hold to save the country?! I’m seriously impressed by their bravery and willingness to face danger to protect their nation. This book is a total page-turner that’ll keep you hooked from start to finish. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, I did find some of the violent scenes to be quite intense and unsettling.

I’m giving this book a well-deserved 5 out of 5-star rating! The story is expertly woven, drawing you in with its captivating narrative and keeping you hooked till the very end. The editing is top-notch, with not a single error to be found. If you’re a fan of heart-pumping suspense, thrilling plots, and action-packed adventures, then this book is a must-read. Just be aware that it may not be suitable for everyone due to its graphic content. Otherwise, get ready for a gripping read that’ll leave you breathless.
