Review of Long Branch
Long Branch by Dan Ramm
Some professions allow you to explore and become almost anything you’ve ever wished or imagined, and acting is one of them. While living in the public eye and facing constant scrutiny can be overwhelming, it's simply part of the job—an occupational hazard that comes with fame, whether you're an actor or not.
This is the story of Mason, an incredible actor best known for his iconic role as Sheriff Quinn in the show Tin Star. As his career began to falter, he found himself losing all his money due to a financial crisis. Desperate for a reprieve, he returned home, hoping to escape the chaos. Little did he know, his life was about to take an unexpected turn. Will Mason find the solutions he seeks at home, or will his challenges multiply?
The character development in this story is outstanding, with every character perfectly fitting into the larger narrative. I particularly liked Mason and often wondered if he was really as skilled at drawing his weapon as the author described. Buck and Elle stood out to me the most—Buck, because he struck me as the type of guy who could find a needle in a haystack, someone everyone should have in their corner as a reliable go-to person. I imagine him as the kind of person who either knows everything or knows someone who does. I admired Elle for her tenacity and industrious nature. In my view, Mason was truly fortunate to have these two in his corner.
The author did a fantastic job with this book, engaging the reader’s imagination to great effect. I have no doubt this story would translate well into a Netflix series, with its thrills, suspense, action, and drama, especially showcasing Mason’s special skills. The book is well edited, with a few errors that didn’t detract from the enjoyment of reading. I have no criticism of the content and rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend it to adults who enjoy a solid plot, crime, drama, and a sprinkle of romance. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and eagerly anticipate the next series.

Elizabeth Thank you for your review! This sounds like an interesting one. Is there an intent to have this book translated into a netflix series? If so, I can keep an eye out for it. Anyway, thanks again for your review! It is always nice to find a new crime/drama to check out. I will keep an eye out for this book as well. Thank you!Elizabeth-Tush4Christ wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 01:36 [Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Long Branch" by Dan Ramm.]
