In “E M P Honeymoon” by Dorothy May Mercer, Kelly and Sergeant Tom set out on what should be a relaxing and romantic Caribbean honeymoon. They're expecting nothing more than sun, sand, and a relaxing time together. However, things take a dramatic turn when they visit a small pigsty shop that initially seemed harmless. What they uncover instead is a secret terrorist plot that could lead to a huge disaster. Suddenly, their peaceful getaway becomes a high-stakes mission. Kelly and Tom find themselves in a race against time, using their skills and courage to prevent a dangerous attack. The author builds suspense by weaving in unexpected twists, turning their dream vacation into a nail-biting adventure. As you read, you'll be on the edge of your seat, wondering how they'll stop the threat before it's too late.

What I enjoyed most about this book were the different points of view from multiple characters. This made the story more engaging. The sci-fi elements, like the coronal mass ejection and electromagnetic pulse, were fascinating to read about. The story moved quickly, and both the characters and the plot kept me hooked from start to finish. I found the teamwork between the characters impressive, as they worked together to face the challenges. Out of all the characters, I found the interactions between Sharon, Steve, and Agatha the most entertaining and funny. I also appreciated how the author showed a strong sense of duty towards the country through the characters.

There’s nothing I disliked about this book. It was professionally edited, and I couldn’t find any mistakes in it. Because of that, I give it a 5 out of 5 rating. However, there were some swear words in the book, so it may not be the best choice for younger readers. Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fast-paced stories with sci-fi elements, strong teamwork, and well-written characters. It's a great read for adults looking for an exciting adventure.
