When you were a child, did you ever imagine that monsters were lurking somewhere, waiting to capture you? This is the story of an absolute monster who kidnaps five-year-old girls and then murders them.

Doll House by Jena Red is a story about a woman named Catherine, or Cat, as everyone calls her. She would often have nightmares about someone capturing her and tying her to a bed. She vaguely remembers her mother and sister, Pamela, being there. She heard her screams as well as those of others bound. She would wake up drenched in sweat and rock back and forth.

Cat Edwards was a beautiful 28-year-old redhead. She is a forensic auditor, and she lives with four male roommates. There was Sam, a gorgeous hunk with black hair and blue eyes. Sam worked as an undercover cop. There was Ned, her brother, Grant, and Elliot. Despite their strong friendship, she secretly harbored romantic feelings for Sam. Unbeknownst to her, Sam had the same feelings for her. They would laugh, hug, hold hands, kiss each other on the cheek, and almost act like they were lovers. Someone was watching this display of affection and did not like it very much. In fact, his anger was so intense that he felt capable of murder. One day, Cat received a package. When Cat opened the package, she screamed in shock upon discovering a mutilated doll, a photo of a deceased girl, and a note inside. She started receiving one such doll a week. Who was killing these poor, innocent little girls, and what was their connection to Cat? You must buy a copy to find all the answers.

I rarely read murder mysteries. I particularly don't like reading murder mysteries that depict the brutal act of killing children. This book resonated with me in a way that compelled me to read it. The book immediately captivated me, and despite its graphic content, I continued to read it. This book had everything you would want in a novel. It kept your interest. It had romance and sex. It scared the wits out of you. You couldn’t figure out who was doing these horrendous murders, so you read on. I am pleased that I chose this book, as it was one of the best murder mysteries I have read. The author had a way of grabbing your attention and holding it. The characters were all likable and interesting. The only aspect I found less appealing was the gruesome details and the murder of the little girls. However, I understand that this is an inherent aspect of a murder mystery.

I can see no other option than to rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. If you are a murder mystery lover, I think this book will interest you. Beware! This is a warning! The book contains extremely graphic details of the murders, as well as explicit sexual situations. Therefore, if you are sensitive to these two issues, this book is not recommended for you.

I would have a difficult time stomaching the gruesome details and murders of little girls. For this reason, I won't pick up this book. On the other hand, your review clearly shows that this is a well-written book with a gripping plot and worthy of a 5-star rating.

This review is great, it’s in depth but doesn’t give too much away. I can empathize with not wanting to read the book for its horrific subject matter. Objectively at least, the book seems like it was written well.

This murder mystery seems well constructed but it's clearly not for everyone due to the gruesome descriptions. I read horror stories but when the monsters are human and the victims are little girls I'm not sure I can read it. Still, if you're in the right mood, it might be an engaging novel. Thank you for your great review!

Doll House by Jena Red seems like a chilling read with a plot that grips you from the start. The combination of suspense, romance, and mystery makes it intriguing, though I’m not typically drawn to graphic depictions of murder or child abuse. I appreciate how the author keeps you guessing, and the characters seem to have depth that keeps readers engaged. While the gruesome content may not be for everyone, this could be a captivating choice for those who enjoy intense murder mysteries. Based on the review, I’m not sure it’s something I’d read, but for fans of the genre, it seems like an intense, compelling story.

Murder mysteries have always interested me, but I don't think I want to read this one. The details of the murders and other aspects might be a no for me. However, the book sounds very intriguing. I would love to read the book if I get over the details of the murders. Amazing review.
