Review of Sky Thunder
Working in the agency comes with its risks, dangers, and rewards: the dangers may involve getting caught, killed, or badly injured, but alongside this, the bond formed between these agents is irreplaceable and a constant reminder that someone will always have your back, which is the rewarding part of it. And so, I admire those fighting to keep our country safe; it is a huge responsibility they have taken upon themselves without holding back anything. Securing a Chinese spy, Colt and his team, Task Force 24, embark on a mission to ensure their package is safe and properly secured. On this mission, Colt sights Vlad, a threat to the United States, who left him with an encounter etched into his memory from the Texas bombings. Colt was determined to eliminate any threats associated with this encounter while keeping his men safe, but securing the Chinese spy was just the beginning, as the information received from the spy provoked a highly confidential mission with a lot of uncertainty and a high-risk threat. Sky Thunder by Charles A. Stewart is a fictional novel with fast-paced action that will keep your mind glued to the end.
The plot was very engaging and descriptive. I like how descriptive the actions are; narrating everything from the fights to the landscape and combat technique, the descriptions kept my imagination alive. I learned that the worst thing to do in a firefight was to seek better concealment and cover during the firefight at the hangar. The book kept me wanting more, which led me to conclude that this novel would make an engaging action thriller movie.
I honestly found nothing to dislike about this book. The characters have well-defined and unique personalities. For example, Angie Collins' distinct personality was the unwillingness to work cooperatively with a team. I admire Dr. Liberty Starr, who earned her respect, and Colt for his dedication and commitment to leading his team with utmost care for their lives and well-being. My admiration for him grew when he dispelled even a hint of complacency from his team.
Therefore, I rate this book four out of five stars. I deducted a star rating due to the significant number of errors I found, and I would suggest another round of editing. If these errors are corrected, I would gladly give this book a perfect star rating for the engaging delivery of the plot.
Fans of crime thrillers and action-packed novels would enjoy this book; therefore, I recommend it to them.
