Review of Zip Line
The story in ZIP LINE: (AFTERMATH) by P. Anthony Michael follows close friends as they endure permanent changes after supernatural events occur on Finch Mountain. The police officer, Neal, faces a jackal attack, which triggers disturbing incidents in his life. His body began displaying strange superhuman abilities while it morphed into animalistic forms, which became linked to multiple brutal killings. Neal fights to control both aspects of himself while he finds himself caught in an investigation that investigates a journalist's death alongside the disappearance of homeless people. The terrifying experiences Neal encountered on Finch Mountain remain the ongoing obsessions of his existence. The city faces a series of brutal killings, which leads Gail to question whether her loving husband, Neal, could possibly be behind these horrific acts. What’s happening to Neal? And who is the real killer?
The suspenseful plot twists of the book completely captured my attention. A combination of a crime's narrative progression and the insertion of shady figures, combined with skillfully seeded evidence, keeps me deeply involved in the detective's truth-seeking expedition. The suspenseful journey combined with unpredicted plot developments and killer revelations creates an exciting brain exercise through murder mysteries, which remains enjoyable for numerous readers.
Gail serves as my favorite character across the story. From the start, Neal receives unconditional love from his wife, Gail, who stands by his paranormal abilities. Her absolute backing of Neal identifies her as an admirable character. The main character, Neal, shows important development during the story. Neal avoids abusing his gifts by devoting himself to safeguarding others together with his role as a loving family man who cares for Carlton and Ari. His decision to become a police officer demonstrates his dedication to protecting humanity by using his abilities instead of serving as a menace.
The book provided insights into how family security must rank as a primary priority. Neal controls his paranormal abilities because he dedicates himself to creating safety for his family. This outstanding book received excellent editorial treatment from both author and editor since it contains zero errors. The book has nothing negative to my liking, so I awarded it five out of five stars because of its thrilling plot development. All those who enjoy paranormal murder mystery stories should read this book because they will stay engrossed until the unexpected conclusion.
