I just got my copy of Loving Myself First by Ms. G, LCSW. This is a beautifully done paperback self-care journal. The lady posing in a meditative state on the cover made for an inviting first impression. The poem Self-reflection and Introspection by Geletta Shavers, LCWS, at the beginning of the book gives insight into how this book will guide you to look inside yourself.
The next part was my favorite: a 30-day challenge filled with tasks to do and things to think about to better your life. I especially enjoyed the ones reminding me to reach out or spend time with family and friends. I hope to make many of these tasks a part of my everyday life.
The journal entries parts of this book had detailed sections to fill in, but also free space to process what had happened that day or anything you'd like to write about. It also has a small bullet journal section where you can doodle, make task trackers, or whatever will help you most in your journaling journey. I think this is a good combination that many people can get good use out of.
I really liked how Ms. G composed this journal. I feel that it can benefit all types of people trying to figure out more about themselves, dealing with trauma, or just needing a place to vent or to get their feelings out.
I would rate this book a four out of five. I removed one star because I thought there could be a few more prompts in the daily self-care area of the book. That would also be my only negative about this journal. This book was flawlessly edited with no profanity or sexual content. I would recommend Loving Myself First to anyone who is just starting or needs a new book to journal in.

This book was a gentle but powerful reminder of how important self-love really is. Ms. G writes with honesty and clarity, making complex emotional struggles feel seen and understood. What I appreciated most was how practical the advice felt—it’s not just theory, but steps you can actually take to heal and grow. Whether you’re just starting your self-love journey or need encouragement along the way, this book is a great companion.

Ce livre est tt simplement magnifique car l'auteur de ce livre invite toute personne à développer un amour propre de soi mm ,à ne pas se laisser abattre par les autres et à méditer régulièrement grâce au défi de 30 jours pour améliorer sa personnalité. Et enfin faire un développement personnel

J'aime particulièrement ce livre parce que l'auteur amène surtout les femmes à apprendre à connaître sa personne intérieur et avoir un amour propre de soi .C'est tt simplement un défi qui pourra aider beaucoup de personnes à retrouver confiance en eux et avoir un état d'esprit fort. :
