Review of Numinous Place

The book, Numinous Place by the authors, was indeed a good one. Although it was my first time reading a book of this particular type, I enjoyed it thoroughly. The book weaves the plot of Henry Meat, the protagonist, a journalist as he discovers his long lost love and his daughter. He goes through the many troubles for the daughter who may have been alive. In this journey, he gets to know many other things. Him alternating between his real-life incidents and dream-indced situations being the ones I loved the most. Although the plot being slightly confusing in the beginning, the readers start understanding the plot better as the story progresses.
There were fewer errors and a wonderful narrative, which included data collected from various sources, making the story easier to go through. Throughout the read, I was anticipating as to what would be the fate of the narrator, and his newly discovered daughter. Despite not getting a satisfactory and clear answer for it by the end of the book, I felt that the climax was apt, and unexpected.
The story had a mild (to moderate) amount of profanity with minimal sexual context, without a graphic detail.
All in all, I give the entire story a 3 of 5 rating as the plot was a bit difficult for me to understand in the beginning, and it seemed a bit lengthy. The overall setting of the story was good and I do recommend it to the readers who want to delve into a world of mystery, cults and topics related to sleep; lucid dreams, in particular.
I'd like to conclude my report by saying that, the authors, Mark Staufer and R. D. Gragg did a wonderful job throughout the book. The story-line was hooking and I did feel that the book was worth the whole time I spent reading it. It is a page turner, and the reader would definitely be intrigued by the way the story ended.
